Rooted: A Creative Tray Workshop
In-Person Event
Welcome! On Saturday, May 30, join us in the studio for Rooted, a hands-on immersive creative workshop designed to help you slow down, reconnect with the creative process, and create something meaningful with your own hands.
We don’t always need more information… sometimes we simply need space.
Space to slow down.
Space to create.
Space to reconnect with what feels true.
In a world that often moves quickly, this gathering offers a different rhythm.
Together, we step away from the noise and into the process of making.
During this experience, you’ll design and paint your own handcrafted wooden tray using paint, curated stencil options, and your own creative vision. No two trays will ever be alike. Each piece becomes a reflection of your style, your choices, and the simple joy of creating something by hand.
There is intention here, not in choosing a word or theme, but in the act of creating itself. In color selection. In brushstrokes. In choosing what feels right instead of overthinking every decision.
This is a gathering rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and presence.
EVENT SCHEDULE
Date: Saturday, May 30
Rooted: Creative Tray Workshop
1:00–4:00 PM EST | Investment: $125
We’ll begin with a brief grounding moment and welcome before moving into the creative process.
From there, you'll be guided step-by-step as you design and paint your own tray, choosing from curated stencils, colors, and design elements while allowing room for your own intuitive expression.
Not rushed.
Not overthought.
Just one brushstroke at a time.
WHAT YOU'LL CREATE
Your finished project includes:
• One fully designed handcrafted wooden tray
• A beautiful and functional piece for your home
• A one-of-a-kind creation designed and finished by you
• A meaningful reminder of slowing down and making space to create
WHAT MAKES THIS SPECIAL
Each tray begins in my father's workshop and is then brought to my studio waiting for you.
For years, these trays have been part of our story and creative process together. This workshop opens the door for you to become part of that story too.
Built by one set of hands.
Finished by another.
Bringing together craftsmanship, creativity, and personal expression in a way that feels both grounded and meaningful.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the Rooted Creative Workshop, you can expect:
• A calm and welcoming creative space
• A brief grounding and introduction
• Handcrafted trays created by my father
• Curated stencil selections and paint options
• Gentle step-by-step instruction
• Plenty of room for intuitive creativity
• Time to create at your own pace in a supportive environment
WHY CREATING MATTERS
There is something that shifts when we work with our hands.
Judgment softens.
Clarity rises.
Something deeper settles into place.
Creating becomes less about perfection and more about presence.
Sometimes the most meaningful things we make are not simply the finished pieces we bring home…
but the experience of slowing down long enough to create them.
